The new private membership club in Washington, DC, co-founded by Donald Trump Jr., is charging a $500,000 membership fee. There is already a waiting list.
The club, known as Executive Branch, held a launch party on Saturday night. This included at least half a dozen members of President Donald Trump’s administration, wealthy CEOs, tech founders and policy experts.
The executive division was founded by Donald Trump Jr. and was founded in 1789 with capitals Omead Malik and Christopher Baskirk, an investment company that had Trump Jr. partnered last year. Other founders include Alex Witkov and Zach Witkov, the president, the son of billionaire real estate developer Steve Witkov, and longtime friends of the current Middle Eastern envoy.
Founding members include White House Crypto Czar David Sacks, Crypto Investors Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss and Tech Investor Chamath Palihapitiya.
In addition to the $500,000 membership fee, the club will also charge annual membership fees, which has not yet been revealed.
The executive department said it will be open next month at a location in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C.
The executive division is the latest in a wave of private membership clubs that have opened since the community pandemic in cities such as New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Clubs usually come with membership fees ranging from about $4,000 to $10,000, along with exclusive restaurants and bars, meeting spaces, gyms and spas. Like the Aman Club in New York, for example, it runs as much as $200,000.
More than twice as many executive branches as Aman Clubs are one of the most expensive membership clubs in the United States, and unlike popular membership clubs in New York, such as Zero Bond, Core Club, ZZ or Casacy Priani, Executive Branch will have a selected membership, according to people familiar with the club.
Washington Insider says the administration can play a similar role on Washington’s socio-political circuit, just as the Trump International Hotel in Washington, played in the first Trump administration. The Trump Hotel has become a popular hangout not only for foreign officials, lobbyists and business leaders, but also for administration officials and Republican Congressional leaders.
However, the hotel has also become a magnet for ethics-related criticism, and the Trump organization sold the hotel’s lease in 2022.
Saturday’s administrative division launch party event included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Chairman Paul Atkins, Attorney General Pam Bondin, FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson, FCC Chairman Brendan Kerr, Director of National Intelligence Brendan Kerr, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, Mehmet Oz, Medicare and Medicare administrators at Medicare;
It also includes several high-tech founders and CEOs. Applovin CEO Adam Foroughi, people said.
According to people close to the administrative department, future members of the club must be strongly vetted and approved by the founder. Some prospective members offer to pay $1 million for participation, but membership requires referrals and close screening.
“We don’t want media members or many lobbyists to participate,” said someone close to the club. “We want people to feel comfortable by having a conversation in privacy.”
