Collaboration Software Maker Asana On Wednesday, it said it chose the yuan. Lubrick and ServiceNow Executive Dun Rogers became the new CEO and replaced co-founder Dustin Moskovitz.
Rogers will begin on July 21st at San Francisco-based Asana, the company announced. Rogers will quit posting as CEO, a startup with software to carefully release code updates. Rogers joined Launch Darkly in 2023.
Moskovitz co-founded Facebook Parents Meta Before departing to start the asana in 2008. In March, Asana said she was retiring. Moskovitz will chair Asana’s board of directors as the company is working to diversify its artificial intelligence tools. Asana’s AI Studio software generated more than $1 million in annual revenue in the April quarter.
“This moment represents an unprecedented opportunity for AI to evolve the way people work, and Dan is a leader with the experience, vision and expertise needed to guide Asana to the next chapter,” Moskovitz said in a statement. “I look forward to supporting Dan.”
Bloomberg estimates Moscowitz is worth more than $11 billion and has received $5 in total coverage over the past five fiscal years. In contrast, Rogers receives a base salary of $650,000 and a limited stock unit of $35 million. Rogers is also eligible for the $650,000 annual target bonus.
Before joining Launch Darkly, Rogers ran marketing with ServiceNow and Symantec and played a role in it. Amazon Web services, Microsoft and Salesforce. He arrived at Launch Darkly after three years as president of data management software company Rubrik.
After publishing its 2020 direct list, Asana, alongside other software stocks, saw its stocks rise during the pandemic. The stock gradually drifted downwards, and Moskowitz increasingly acquired the company. Shares closed at $12.93 per share on Wednesday, falling from a record $142.68 in November 2021 closing, according to Factset.
Following the CEO’s announcement, the shares remained unchanged in a few hours.
LaunchDarkly said its Chief Revenue Officer, Marcus Holm, will become the startup president and will be more involved every day as the co-founder and former CEO performs CEO searches.
“We are grateful for the leadership Dan has brought to launch and the role he played in helping him grow his business,” the spokesperson said.
