Check out the companies making headlines in the midday trading: Robinhood – Brokerage app provider stocks have popped 10%, touching on a new 52-week high. Robinhood has announced new crypto-related offerings, including the launch of tokenized US stocks and ETFs in Europe and crypto staking at Cohen & Steer in the US. The Cava – Fast Casual Restaurant chain stocks won 9% to start the week. Certainly, the catalyst for migration was not immediately clear. Stocks have fallen 25% despite Monday’s jump, despite 8% over the past 12 months. Fortive – Shares fell by more than 5% after the industrial company completed the Precision Technologies Business spinoff. This is a falling more than 8% as Ralliant Corp. Ralliant began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the RAL ticker. Oracle – Stocks rose almost 5% after saying it signed “multiple large cloud services agreements expected to contribute more than $30 billion in annual revenue from fiscal year 200” in 8-K filings. Stifel also upgraded the stocks to buy. Chemed Corp – Stocks fell approximately 14%. The company provided updates on second-quarter and full-year performance, saying that actual Medicare admissions in Florida in April and May were weaker than expected due to the VITAS healthcare business. Chemed’s Roto-Rooter subsidiary also began experiencing weaker demand for housing business in the second quarter. Solar Power – Some solar power companies shares include new taxes on projects that use components from China, the main supplier of clean energy equipment. First Solar, a major domestic solar panel producer, has added 9%. Sunrun rose 15% as the leased system qualifies for tax credit once more. Solaredge added almost 5%. Moderna – After the biotechnology company’s experimental influenza vaccine responded positively in late-stage trials, stocks rose 2%, paving the way for standalone shots and combined covid shots. Juniper Networks’ Hewlett Packard Enterprise – According to court filings, the U.S. Department of Justice has settled a lawsuit in which the US Department of Justice challenged the $14 billion acquisition of server maker Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Juniper Networks, a $14 billion acquisition, according to court filings. Meta Platform – Earned 1% after Bloomberg, and reported weekend information, citing an unknown source, Meta has hired four Openai artificial intelligence researchers and joined the new Superintelligence Group led by Alexandr Wang. These employers are Jiahui Yu, Shuchao Bi, Shengjia Zhao and Hongyu Ren. The stock of the specialized building product distributor jumped over 11% after GMS – Home Depot announced plans to buy it for around $4.3 billion. This offer outweighs unsolicited bids by QXO. Palantir Technologies, Accenture – Stocks rose by about 5% and 1% respectively, after Palantir and Accenture became Palantir’s preferred implementation partners. Tesla – Stocks fell by about 1% as President Donald Trump’s spending bill cleared key hurdles over the weekend and approached the president’s desk.
