The Federal Communications Commission warns Comcast Corp. To begin investigating diversity, equity and comprehensive efforts in the media giant.
The FCC, an agency that regulates the media and telecommunications industry, said in a letter Tuesday it will open a survey of both Comcast, which offers broadband, mobile and cable television services under the Xfinity brand, and NBCuniversal’s Comcast. The letter comes three weeks after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to end DEI practices in American businesses.
