Payton Manning has a new business partner.
The new platform, run by Patrick Whitesell, former executive chairman of Endeavor, has acquired a minority stake in Manning’s Omaha Productions.
According to people familiar with the issue, the stock, which is roughly 10% of the company, values ​​Omaha’s works at over $750 million.
Private equity firm Silver Lake announced Whitesell’s new platform earlier this week to invest in sports, media and entertainment companies. Silver Lake is donating its first $250 million to the fund. Omaha Productions trading is your first investment.
Whitesell spokesman and Omaha and Silver Lake spokesman declined to comment on the financial terms.
“Omaha’s strong track record of creating engaging content places us in a strong position to take advantage of new opportunities across entertainment and sports,” Whitesell said in a statement.

Omaha Productions produces over 30 TV series and live events for a variety of media partners. Disney, Netflix and Comcast‘s nbcuniversal. The company is executive producer of Netflix’s “Quarterback” and “Receiver” documentary series, and has developed Monday night football with colloquially known Payton and Eli, known as the Manning Brothers, who comment on the game and interview celebrities.

Omaha has been profitable since its establishment, and the company said the investment is about increasing Omaha’s value and expanding opportunities rather than requiring cash.
Both Silver Lake and Whitesell helped to expand their efforts beyond talented agencies and move into the vast sports and entertainment empire. The company, run by Ali Emmanuel, eventually acquired both UFC and WWE and merged them into a new entity called the new published entity TKO Group.
