Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Kiloex has provided $7.5 million Crypto from the platform to hackers who exploited the bounty of a 10% white hat.
On April 15, Killox posted an offer directed at hackers who stole millions from Dex. Kiloex said it worked with law enforcement, cybersecurity agencies and exchanges to reveal information about the hackers’ activities.
Dex shares wallet addresses linked to hackers that are actively monitored by the Defi platform and other organizations. Killox said he was ready to freeze the stolen funds. However, DEX provided the hackers with $750,000 in exchange for returning 90% of the stolen assets.
Killox said if the hackers return the funds, they will treat the incident as an abuse of a white hat.
Hackers stole $7.5 million from Killx
On April 14, the cybersecurity company reported that exploited the platform through a price Oracle vulnerability. A report from Peckshield said that about $3.3 million of bases, $3.1 million of OPBNB and $1 million of BSC tokens have been taken.
The blockchain security company said the information that smart contracts use to determine price assets was manipulated, leading to misuse.
In response to the attack, the platform stopped DEX. The platform also said the exploits were contained.

Kiloex pursues legal action if hackers don’t return funds
Dex adds that it will drop the issue and publicly acknowledges that the case has been resolved if the hacker agrees to return the funds. Kiloex wrote:
“We will tweet about this resolution, acknowledge your cooperation and close the case without further action.”
Dex has notified hackers to contact us by email or send an on-chain message if they accept the offer. If hackers do not accept the offer, Dex said it would escalate the issue with relevant law enforcement agencies and pursue investigations with cybersecurity partners.
“Your identity and activity will be exposed to the relevant authorities. We will mercilessly pursue legal action. The choice is yours. Now we will act to avoid irreversible consequences,” Killox writes.
