Ethereum Price rose 5%, breaking into a high of $2,680, ranking it at the top Gaines of the day. The profits came as Sharplink Gaming announced plans to buy $425 million worth of ETH. Sharplink employs ETH as its main financial strategy.
Ethereum prices rose more than 5% on Tuesday as Top Altcoin benefited from an upside-down spark caused by the announcement that it would buy $425 million worth of ETH as part of Sharplink Gaming’s financial strategy.
Prices for ETH, which fell below $2,530 in a day, rose above $2,680, up over 5% amid market response.

According to Coinmarketcap, Uptick also saw Ethereum’s daily volume spikes, reaching $23 billion after surged 81%.
ETH prices also occurred as standard chartered shared insights in 2025, suggesting that Altcoin would outweigh Solana (SOL).
In particular, Sol Price hovered around $177, mostly flat that day, with just 6.8% last week.
In comparison, Ethereum won 8% in a week, but hasn’t risen as Bitcoin continues to accumulate at a $110,000 level.
Sharplink Game Buy $425 million ETH
On Tuesday, NASDAQ-registered company Sharplink Gaming has removed its own major announcement as Trump Media announced it was raising $2.5 billion to buy Bitcoin.
The company aims to raise $425 million to buy Ethereum, with the funds coming from offering private investment in the Public Equity (PIPE) round.
The offer, backed by Ethereum Development Studio Consensys, seeks to offer 69,100,313 common shares at a price of $6.15 per share.
Subject to closure conditions, the aggregate revenue from the salary increase that will be closed on May 29th will become the company’s main financial asset.
“Consensys looks forward to partnering with Sharplink to explore, develop and collaborate in our core business as a strategic advisor, a strategic time for the Ethereum community.
Lubin is also the co-founder of Ethereum. Consensys’ involvement in trading was a major investor.
Meanwhile, top companies and ecosystem players from Crypto Venture Capital participated in the initiative, with participants from Pantera Capital, Parafi Capital, Electric Capital, Arrington Capital and Galaxy Digital taking part.
Others include Crypto Platform Ondo, VCS White Star Capital, GSR, Hivemind Capital, Hypersphere, and Primitive Ventures.

Ethereum traded about $2,675 at the time of writing, and in November 2021 it received around 45% off its all-time high of $4,891.
