Netflix On Wednesday, we announced a new update to the “Moments” feature, allowing viewers to save and share clip start and endpoints.
This feature is available only on mobile devices and was first unfolded last year to save and share scenes that viewers love.
The new update coincides with the release of the second part of Season 2 of the popular show “Wednesday.”
New updates to Netflix’s “Moments” feature aim to take advantage of the viral moments of shows like “Wednesday.” Updates include the “Clip” option on the screen, which adjusts the length of the segment. Once clipped, the video is saved to the viewer’s “My Netflix” tab and re-watch or share it.
The first season of the series – a spin on the classic television show “The Addams Family” – on Wednesday, the title character scene, Dancing went viral, becoming one of the series’ most popular moments. According to the company’s website, “Wednesday” is the most popular Netflix show to date, with over 252 million viewers.
The first part of the series debuted in August, attracting tens of millions of viewers to date.
With Netflix revamping the brand, it will bring new updates as it comes with a redesigned homepage and vertical video feed on a mobile redesigned Tiktok-like version.
The streaming giant has implemented various strategic moves since its short period of stagnation in 2022. From renewing its features to business initiatives such as cheaper ad support subscription plans and password sharing oppression.
Netflix no longer releases subscription data, but Streamer reported in January that it had over 300 million paid members.
