The evening with DBS Group CEO and Director Tan Su Shan was sold to Vidder on Saturday by auction house Sotheby’s for $18,900 ($14,790).
In the evening there will be a private dinner for six people hosted by Tan, a private tour at the National Gallery in Singapore, and a private tour at the museums located in two national monuments.
“Set in an elegant and intimate setting, this dinner promises exciting conversation and exceptional company. It’s perfect for discerning bidders looking for inspiration, connection and table seating with one of Singapore’s most respected figures,” says the auction house.
Tan, who took over the helm of Southeast Asia’s largest bank in March this year, has over 35 years of experience in banking and asset management. She previously worked in senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Citi, and participated. DBS Bank In 2010, as group head of consumer banking and asset management.

Big bidder
When it comes to charity auctions, serving meals with celebrities and top business leaders is an established practice, especially when the top 1% are in the room.

This auction experience with Tan was part of the National Gallery Singapore’s 10th anniversary gala. Over $2.8 million was raised through a fundraising event held on Saturday, September 13th.
The funds raised from the event will be used to “advance the gallery’s mission to make art accessible to everyone, from expanding programs that will enable new exhibits and attract children, seniors and underserved communities.”
The auction, managed by Sotheby’s, took place at the Gala and featured nearly 90 “unusual artwork and lavish experiences.”
