Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was reportedly sent to solitary confinement after taking part in an interview with right-wing political commentator Tucker Carlson, who has not been approved by prison authorities.
“This particular interview has not been approved,” a representative from the Prisons Bureau told the New York Times on March 7.
According to those who have explained the situation, after an interview with Bankmanfried Carlson was announced, he was sent to solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, which has been running since August 2023.
