Sonic SVM has announced an airdrop campaign for TikTok users. The SonicSVM team and Injective recently partnered on a cross-chain AI agent platform.
Sonic, the Solana virtual machine layer 2 network for gaming, announced the launch of an airdrop for users on TikTok.
On December 23, SoniX, the Sonic SVM’s TikTok app layer, said it plans to distribute native $SONIC tokens to eligible TikTok users via X. This campaign is open to all SoniX TikTok users who interact with premium ads or access the project’s Sonic SVM account.
“This campaign marks the latest step towards the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) where eligible users will receive token rewards through airdrops,” the SoniX team said via a post on X.

More than 2 million users of the short-form video app are participating, according to the latest details shared by the project. Onboarding requires no external wallet or gas fees.
Sonic will soon announce Airdrop Snapshot.
L2 is working towards building the TikTok chain, and its user expansion efforts include announcing several gaming integrations. The SoniX app has added support for games like Mahjong and Hunting Field in recent weeks.
Sonic SVM recently launched a cross-chain AI agent platform in partnership with Injective, a layer 1 network for real-world assets, artificial intelligence, and institutions. The Smart Hub is designed to link the Sonic and Injective chains, and the new hub leverages Sonic’s HyperGrid technology.
The integration also leverages inter-blockchain communication protocols to connect AI agents on the SVM to Injective’s ecosystem.
