UnitedHealth – The health insurance company’s shares have gone down to about 7% as investors lost 23% last week and investors scooped up shares in beaten names. UnitedHealth has suspended its 2025 guidance and announced its CEO has resigned, reportedly being subject to a U.S. Department of Justice investigation. Reddit – Social media stocks have fallen more than 4% after downgrading to equal weight from overweight in Wells Fargo. The company said the disruption in search traffic on Reddit is likely to continue as Google’s search integrates full artificial intelligence capabilities. Tesla, Palantir – Retail investors’ favourite stocks Tesla and Palantir each slide over 3%, with key tech stocks leading stock market losses on Monday. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals – Drugmaker’s shares fell about 1% after it announced it had agreed to pay $256 million to buy most of the assets of genetic data company 23andme from bankruptcy. Regeneron’s transactions do not include Lemonaid Health, a Telehealth subsidiary of 23andme. Bath & Body Works – Shares fell 1% after personal care retailer said CEO Gina Boswell would soon resign. The company said former Nike executive Daniel Heaff will replace her. Alibaba – The Chinese e-commerce giant’s US stock fell 1% after the New York Times reported that it raised concerns about Apple’s plan to use Alibaba’s AI on its Chinese iPhone. TXNM Energy – After TXNM agreed to be acquired by Blackstone’s infrastructure unit, the energy company’s shares popped 7%.
